Mike Chesne founded Tecton after a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Army Special Operations. As Chairman of the Board and Chief of Innovation at Tecton, he maintains the company's vision and mission while continuing to engage in scientific exploration to develop innovative solutions that expand the scope of Tecton’s product portfolio and intellectual property landscape.

Mike is deeply committed to serving others, dedicating his time and leadership to multiple veteran-focused nonprofit organizations. Over the years, he has held a variety of key positions, including Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, and Co-Founder, reflecting both his passion and long-standing impact within these communities. He intends to continue supporting these deserving individuals for as long as he is able.

Mike divides his time between Orlando, Florida, and Alexandria, Louisiana. In Orlando, he lives with his wife of thirty-eight years, their oldest son, daughter-in-law, and three grandsons. In Alexandria, he spends time with his wife, their youngest son, daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, and one grandson.
