Eric Gillis is an Army veteran, educator, entrepreneur, and leadership strategist who helps individuals and organizations rebuild stronger after adversity. After serving in the United States Army and deploying to Iraq, Eric faced significant personal challenges during his transition back to civilian life, eventually hitting rock bottom and attempting to take his own life. A pivotal moment came when a doctor told him, “You may never be who you once were, but you can be better.” That moment became the foundation of Eric’s life mission.
Today, Eric is a school administrator, business owner, and the founder of The Rebuilt Warrior, a leadership framework designed to help people rebuild identity, purpose, and performance after failure or hardship. Through his writing, coaching, and consulting, Eric shares the principles that helped him rebuild his own life—principles he now uses to help leaders, veterans, and organizations develop resilience, accountability, and mission-driven leadership.
