Her time in service shaped her leadership, discipline, and deep commitment to helping others. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and a minor in Military History from California State University, Fullerton, Christa combines academic insight with real-world resilience. As a regional bodybuilder and fitness competitor, she embodies focus, strength, and perseverance in every area of her life.

After transitioning from the Army, Christa founded DarkHorse Insurance Solutions, LLC, a Veteran-owned life and health insurance agency dedicated to guiding individuals, families, Veterans, and small businesses through the complexities of life insurance and health coverage. As an active Medicare educator, she specializes in Medicare, individual and family coverage, and benefits that supplement VA benefits and TRICARE, empowering clients to make informed and confident decisions. Recognized by the state of Texas as a Veteran-Owned Business, DarkHorse Insurance Solutions also hosts grassroots and educational events that raise awareness of health benefits, particularly within the Military and Filipino communities—reflecting Christa’s passion for service, heritage, and community impact.
