Brady Busby was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, where his early life helped shape his resilience, strong work ethic, and sense of purpose. Influenced by family values and life experiences, he developed discipline during his teenage years and early workforce experiences. In 1999, Brady joined the military and served for 14 years, facing life-changing moments, including being injured in Afghanistan and later being given a limited life expectancy due to medical complications. During his recovery, he explored alternative healing methods, including cannabis research, and developed a deep interest in nephrite geology.
Today, Brady is the founder of Busby Jade Mine, where he works hands-on in mining, processing, and creating nephrite jewelry. His passion comes from the thrill of discovery and connection to the earth. Through his work, writing, and teaching, he aims to inspire resilience, purpose, and legacy-building for others pursuing their own dreams.
