Aaron McNally entered United States Air Force Basic Military Training in October 1993 and completed six months of specialized training in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R). He served four and a half years in the Air National Guard before transferring to the United States Air Force Reserve in 1997, where he joined the 83rd Aerial Port Squadron. After a break in service, he reenlisted in January 2014 and joined the 36th Aerial Port Squadron. In 2024, MSgt McNally was selected to serve as the First Sergeant for the 173rd Security Forces Squadron.
In his civilian career, McNally is the President and CEO of Mt. Hood Ductless Heating & Cooling, an HVAC company, and the Executive Director of GREEN NW, a workforce development nonprofit focused on creating career pathways in the skilled trades. Through both his military and civilian leadership roles, he is committed to service, workforce development, and strengthening his community.
